A companion, and occasional letters.
When you sign up for this companion, Millerman School uses your email address for occasional letters from Michael. The companion opens immediately on this site. When the form also offers an emailed access link, that message is sent only on request. There is no automated lesson sequence. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email.
Mailchimp stores your email, your subscription preference, and a label showing that you requested the Cave companion. We also record limited campaign labels, such as whether you arrived from a particular video, so we can understand which teaching brings people here. Existing unsubscribe choices are preserved.
The site uses Google Analytics to measure visits and actions such as opening a lesson or following a course link. We do not send your email address to Google Analytics. The signup service keeps limited request and delivery records to prevent duplicate emails and abuse.
If you enter through the shared study invitation, a cookie keeps the same starting route for 30 days: the visualizer or companion first. We record that route and limited campaign labels to compare the paths into study. The record uses a random identifier, not your name. Signup records distinguish previously known contacts from addresses not found in the audience before their request; an uncertain check stays unknown.
The writing exercises keep temporary drafts only in your browser on this device. Your answers are not sent to analytics or to Michael. Download your worksheet to keep a copy or share it yourself. Clearing this site’s browser data removes the local drafts.
